Adolph, Max
Max Adolph was a small German firm that built pianos during the 1920’s and 1930’s era. We have been able to find very limited information about Max Adolph pianos, but we have been fortunate to restore two of them over the years. Apparently they were a small, family owned company that built a limited number of pianos in the pre World War 2 years. The two Max Adolph pianos we have restored were both tiny apartment size baby grand pianos, and were both in unusual Art-Deco style cabinets. These pianos were especially well made, good sounding pianos – quality rarely found in anything but the best brand names.
